Joseph Kornbluh joined Adler & Stachenfeld in 2023 and is a Partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice and Joint Ventures/Corporate Real Estate Group.
 
Mr. Kornbluh’s practice covers a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, sales, ground-up development, borrower-side financings, restructurings and recapitalizations, with a particular emphasis on complex joint venture transactions.
 
Mr. Kornbluh regularly represents institutional investors, pension funds, private equity firms, REITs and national developers, throughout the full life cycle of projects. 
 
Mr. Kornbluh is admitted to practice in New York. 

Notable Transaction Expertise:

  • Programmatic joint venture for the acquisition and development of industrial outdoor storage facilities throughout the United States and related financings in excess of $1 billion, including portfolio-level revolving credit facilities and mezzanine and mortgage financings.
  • Buyout and sale of interests in related partnerships owning a portfolio of large shopping malls valued in excess of $3.2 billion.
  • Series of joint ventures for the acquisition and phased redevelopment of a 22-acre site in the Boston area consisting of multiple condominium structures, a large retail center, 400,000 square feet of office and life science space, residential apartments, community facilities and a hotel, as well as multiple construction and permanent financings in excess of $750 Million relating to various portions of the project.
  • Multiple joint ventures for the acquisition, master-planning, and phased redevelopment of a 27-acre historic site outside of Charlotte.
  • Joint venture for the acquisition of a $3 billion portfolio of healthcare facilities.
  • Programmatic joint venture with more than $800 Million of capital commitments for the acquisition, development and financing of single-family residential communities across the United States.
